Guy was discovered on the street and became an over night success. His most iconic acting role was playing the “Spread the Love Kid”. “The Spread Love Kid” was a young fictional boy (played by Guy) in a television commercial promoting “Love Pops” breakfast cereal. The popular ad campaign remained in regular rotation for more than 12 years and ended up as one of the longest continuously running commercial campaigns ever aired. He was described as “one of television’s most promising stars”. At the height of his fame, he was regarded as the most successful child actor since Shirley Temple. Known as the coolest kid because he went by one name Guy. Guy was nominated for Best Young Actor in three Comedy Series: “GUY and the Family”, “Family House” and “Say the Next Line”. After a successful childhood acting career, Guy struggled financially. A period of substance abuse and legal troubles. Guy is trying to get a hold of his sex and drug addictions while working toward a resurgence of commercial success. Guy barely makes enough money from royalties to live (being broke in Brooklyn sucks). Guy spends his days scheming on how to pay rent, trying to be famous again, day dreaming skits and pitches for film and TV ideas.
